Pocket Watch Chains |
|
|
Rare Victorian pocket watch
chain / ink dip pen combo. Referred to as a travelers pen. An ingenious
idea consisting of 7 cylindrical tubes connected through the centre with
a chain. At on end is a dog clip with a T-Bar and towards the other end
is another clip to attach your pocket watch. The cylindrical piece at
the opposite end to the T-Bar has concealed within it a slide out ink
dip pen knib which when turned around slots back into place, the other
cylindrical links all slot together to make the pen rigid for use. Constructed
in white metal it is 200mm in length when rigid not including the T-Bar
and clip. A rare pocket watch chain and a rare writing instrument, an
opportunity not to miss.
